Can anyone direct me to a great NEF gunsmith that can maybe do a trigger job, throating, and recrown for my 45-70?

Have you read the FAQs?

The best gunsmith for what you've mentioned just may be yourself. 8)

If your not the do - it - yourself type then Wayne York is the man , He does a wonderful job with these rifles .
