extractor build up

Hi, Winchester Model 37 .410 gauge has a worn extractor, it works intermittantly, needs a slight build up.
Has anyone had success with JB weld for this ?
Is there a better 2 part epoxy for this purpose?
Thanks

JB weld would NOT work for any build up of any part of an extractor that I'm aware of. The usual road is to silver braze on extra metal or weld some on using MIG or TIG. Both require very good welders to be effective but these welding techniques are in common use today for many things.. The guy that does my welding is a autobody shop owner and with the thinness of todays body metal can weld almost anything made of steel with his trusty MIG..
