Having a great time on the Western Historical Discussion Forum and I wanted to buy Hext and Hamp a drink.

It is also for anyone else that happens to show up at the Saloon.

Money?  I figgered with your connections all you had to do was start a tab.  Think I'll have a sarsaparilla (make it a double since you're buyin'), and here's to you.

Watch out for Hext, he usually comes to these gatherings with a thermos so's he can take some home with him.  Might end up costing you a bundle.

Hamp, Thanks for letting me know about Hext.

Jugs,  Start me up a tap so I can make sure that Hext gets all the drinks he needs to full his thermos and please make my drink the same as Hamp's.

Now, you know I don't use a thermos.. Ain't period correct.
I do have a jug I like to bring to these festivities.  Strange how it seems to get heavier by the end of the evening.

Yeehaw!  Fill'em again, barkeep!

You have no idea how excited I am to hear from you Old williamlayton.  Ever since I skidded through the intersection of Walk and Don't Walk in downtown Houston (we only have one traffic light in Johnson City) and ran over that poor old homely homeless downtrodden looking person holdin' a cardboard sign, I just knew it was you, since you'd told me how good panhandling was in that area (maybe you said that you were from the panhandle - hard to keep up with you sometimes).  Thank heavens.  What a relief to know I didn't silence you forever.

Now, don't you think you owe me a drink for not running you over?
