This posting about two years ago was the first in my search for more examples of small Spanish Colonial cannons-it has a nice photo of a group of them so you can see what I'm talking about.  I never got much feedback from this posting, so if you know of any cannons of that type I can study (NOT Lantakas!) please let me know:

I think "murderer" was something a bit different and earlier, but I don't know a lot about them.  Someone will, maybe that's Richard's territory.  He's territorial, that Richard.
