Remington 43 spanish rolling block question

I have a real nice Argentine rolling block made by remington in 43 spanish. it has a mint bore but has been drilled and tapped for one of the brass replica scopes. My question is does anyone know of a reciever sight that would fit on this rifle. If it hadent been drilled already i would not alter it but as it already has 4 holes a couple more wont hurt it any. I really like shooting it and my 71/84 mauser but i would like to be able to adjust windage and i like peep sights. Your help would be appreciated. joe gifford aka argie1891

I too have an 1879 Argentine along with a 1879 Argentine carbine, arsenal refinish.
I can't help you on the sights, have never checked into it.
The sights on my rifle are in nice shape along with the rear sight on the carbine.
The front sight on the carbine is quite worn and makes for a hard sight picture.
I will keep my eyes open for you.

Joe, check out the buffaloarms website. They sell the parts unknown tang sights for the rolling block action. They just might have what you need. Frank

thanks for the tip. they have a tang sight. i might have to go that route, but i was  looking for something like a reciever sight that i could use. there is probably something that i could make work but i dont know what. tang sights look neat but i prefer to have the sight on reciecer or blr. thanks again joe gifford. aka argie1891
