A few weeks ago I purchased a .223 Rossi, walnut stock, blued. Placed a 3x9x40 Tasco on top and I couldn't be happier. Buddy of mine worked up a good load, 40 grain Nosler Ballistic tip and 15.6 grains of 5744 (barrel has a 1:12 twist). Accuracy was excellent, and for me personally I recommend them. Looking to buy another very soon, just trying to decide on the caliber:
