Ammo Prices

I made a gun show yesterday and was quite surprised to find an abundance of ammo at somewhat lower prices than it has been over the past few months.  There is still a shortage of .380 but most other calibers were well covered.  One dealer had Monarch .223 for $4.99 a box (20 rounds), he offers a break on lots of 100 or more.   Gun prices even seemed to be down a little.  Things are looking up!

Thanks for the info! I've been wondering about that. I am almost to the point where I need to order a new case of .22 target ammo. I would have done that a few months ago but so much of it wasn't even available, and what was available was very expensive.

I have noticed the same thing here locally.
A recent gun show even advertised new lower prices.
Although I didn't go to it to confirm.
Been a while since I went to one in the big city.

Also I've noticed the ammo shelves filling back up at the local gun stores.
Slight increase in cost, but not to bad.

I'm seeing ammo on the shelving and even though it's a little more than it was pre-election I'm thankful to see it.  Primers, are rare to this day.

I buy a lot of my reloading brass on gunbroker as once fired brass and I've noticed that the price on all of that is back down to normal.  I just bought 1000 pieces of once fired winchester 223 brass for $80 and change.  I'll take that deal.
