Arright, I'd like to know from some of youse guys who are in the know, what's the least hassle worthy way for me to get my boogerhooks on a Handi in .25-35 Winchester?    Not breaking the bank would be good as well.

Rechamber and rebore a 22Hornet or 223 or have a stub made, that's the only way to get there, plan on spending $300 for the work plus the cost of the donor parts.

I'm fixing to do one with a 20 gauge stub and an E-Gunparts barrel, I will post pictures.  Larry

How about boring and lining a donor Handi with a .25 cal liner and chambering in .25-35?

I an no fan of barrel liners for center fire calibers... They work fine for Rim fires and probably would work for the 25/35 as its fairly lo powered.

Larry has chambered me a contender barrel in 25-35 and I also have 25-35 in an encore.  I have a 25 cal blank and a 20 gauge shotgun sitting in the corner for someday....
It is a great middle of the road cartridge for this platform...would/will be very nice in a light barrelled handi.
