Swine Flu is a hoax!

As I have suspected all along- the swine flu was invented by the liberals to add weight to health care reform. In the news today- kids at the minnesota state fair gave the swine flu to the swine!?  Ummmm, is this like global warming?

The Swine flu is no worse than the garden variety flu.  I to think that it is a ploy by the Government to further their agendas.  It may be the Health Care Reform bill, it may be something more. 

My theory is that the US Gov. is trying to take complete control of the financial sector.  They seem to be intentionally doing things to devalue (break) the US dollar.   I think next they will announce that some plague, maybe the swine flu, is spread by handling money so that they "must' do away with hard money and change over to an e-currency that the Gov. will be in charge of.  They will be able to track and tax every transaction which I believe is their ultimate goal.

Just the "regular old flu" kills between 20,000-30,000 people a year world wide.

If it isn't a "crisis", and I don't believe it is, they can make it one to the

I had it a few weeks ago.  I've had worse.  My younger daughter is 27 and works as a clerk in a large municipal court.  She is currently recovering.  She had it worse than me, she got sick in Philadelphia the night before an Eagles game and had to miss it,   The only after-effect I have had has been a persistent dry cough.

For people with other serious conditions, flu can be the nail in their coffin.  It may not kill directly, but can lead to pneumonia, which then kills the sufferer.

I had the flu for the first time. Wife was nice enough to give it to me and it took me out for two weeks. Not sure if swine or garden type.

It's no hoax. Wife has found several case's where she works. It's just that everbody is different in how their own body is going to fight off the illness. And of course, if the virus mutate's, the vaccine you might get today, might not help next month.  gypsyman

I don't think anyone here is saying that there is no such thing as the swine flu.  What I think most of us agree on however is that it is not nearly as bad as the Government and it's mouth piece (news media) are making it out to be.  I've had Doctors tell me that is no more deadly or contagious than the common flu.

true. 36,000 die from the regular flu each year, so what is a few thousand more from another strain if even the same number. Death is a natural part of the circle last time I checked. God bless them that die from getting the flu shot because the govt made them get it.
