« on: October 19, 2009, 02:52:11 PM »
Is there a good Low powered - economicaly price scope(not dirt cheap) that will hold up to the .500S&W. I got My.500 S&W today from ILION. Fit,Finish and Funtion is quite fine.    I also got a 22-250   22" it is also nice.     Thank's 26-t

Nikon Prostaff 2-7X32 will hold up and the optics are awesome.  It is the best Handi scope IMO.  You can use med. height rings too.  They are about $100.00 on ebay.  Make sure you are bidding on a new scope and not a factory refurb.

+1 on the Nikon 2-7x32 shotgun scope, I have one on my 500S&W Handi and another on my 30-30AI, great little scopes.  ;)
