??? on new encore

just ordered a new encore. Basic blue/walnut not a pro hunter. I have an older one and this is for my son. Wondering if they have added any safety mechanisms or anything that is not on the older ones. Anything different at all on the new ones??

The new ones just have more bling.  Nothing new in the safety or function department.

Swing hammer, but nothing else comes to mind.  Other than the different breech (Speed Breech) plugs offered in the 209X50 barrels.

My older blue frame has a trigger stop; I don’t believe the pro-hunter does.

I ordered the plain blue/walnut not a pro hunter. I can see the extra $$$ doing more good somewhere besides a swing hammer and breech plug. I thought I had lost my encore after youth season but we talked his mom into letting us order him a new one. Now I just have to find a good deal on a 25-06 barrel and a couple of scopes.
