here were i live me and some freinds.do a lot of squirrel hunting.with dogs and we were thinking about using the sporter? 22lr we dont shoot that many just a few to keep the dog in gear.and i was wondering how they shot.my other handis shoot well .i dont even carry anything .other. than a handi .i was going to order one this week.just wondering if you can hit a tree rat.with open sights........thanks

Can you hit a tree rat with one with open sights? Sure you can, if you can. The gun shoots better than most of the people that own them. Mine has accounted for a couple of hundred "tree rats", aka "Cape Cod Monkeys"....<><....:)
