How can she go up from here. 12 years old, get drawn for moose, and shoot a monster by Minnesota standards. Good thing her daddy is a taxidermist.

That happens all the time here in Alaska.  It's not uncommon to see where an 8 year old has shot a Bull Moose or Caribou.  Bears too.

It's good to see kids doing things like this.

Where is old Joe when we really need him?  Alaska Independence    Calling Illegal Immigrants "Undocumented Aliens" is like calling Drug Dealers "Unlicensed Pharmacists"
What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

It's a big deal in Minnesota because you can only hunt moose once in a lifetime. That's a big moose for MN, too. Minnesota is marginal moose country. The Alaskan equivalent to this would be a 12 year old taking a polar bear.
