Paranormal/or god's way of making us one.
« on: October 23, 2009, 01:54:27 PM »
Skyler says it's spooky how if something happens to his Mom, or I, the other one just knows something happened.  His Mom says "It's gods way of making us one".

The day Michelle and I were on patrol for the Space Shuttle landing in New Mexico.  Michelle was on Horse back patrol, and was thrown by her horse.  In the fall her neck was broken (crushed vertebra).  I was out on patrol in a dune buggy, suddenly I got a gut feeling to get to her fast.  The feeling was so strong it was almost panic.   When I arrived, there she was lying on the ground, her horse standing over her, not letting anyone near her.

In 1992 Michelle had been relocated to Washington DC.  I was still in Alaska till my son Kirk graduated high school.  While out with a friend I fell through the ice on the Totatlanika river and got swept downstream under the ice.  I managed to break through the ice and get out.  Two days later when I walked into my apartment in Anchorage the phone started ringing.  It was Michelle, her first words were "Are you OK, were you hurt".  She knew something had happened two days before, and that she needed to wait till that time to call.

One night in 1998, Michelle and Sky were sitting here at home when she suddenly had a feeling to go to the hospital at Ft Wainwright.  She grabbed Sky, jumped into the truck and headed into the hospital.  She pulled into the emergency entrance right behind the ambulance.  She ran up to the ambulance as they were unloading me, and without seeing my face told them she was my wife.  I had been rendered unconscious by a dose of home made Mustard Gas.  The EMTs said later they had lost me twice on the way to the hospital.  I spent a week in the hospital over that.

Last winter while in Baltimore MD, a guy confronted her with a tire iron, she felt he was going to hurt or rape her, and possibly kill her.  She pulled her Ruger .38, the guy ran when he saw the gun.  She could still see the guy running when her cell phone started ringing, it was me asking if she was OK.  I just had this feeling I needed to call her.

Last February when I had to pull my gun to foil a robbery at my buddies shop in Ft Lauderdale, my cell started ringing as I was locking the door after the would be robbers ran out.  When I answered I was shaking so bad I turned the speaker on by mistake.  It was Michelle at work here in Alaska.  Her first words were "Did you just shoot someone"?  My Buddy yelled "How did she know you pulled your gun"?

These are extreme things that has happened with us, but there is a steady stream of little things always happening.  Like I know every time she goes into a ditch, almost weekly in the winter.  She knows when I fall in the river when sitting traps.  She also knows every time a woman flirts with me, and especially if I flirt back.  I would never have an affair, she would know, and she shoots just as good as I do.  And I know she would shoot me, I know her.   Michelle has been attending a conference in Baltimore since last week.  She has tried to call home several times, but for some reason I can not talk to her when she calls.  Last night I decided to call her.  But as I was going through the numbers on my phone I saw her brothers number, I hit it instead.  Michelle answered, her brother Mike had just picked her up at her Hotel and was pulling out onto the interstate heading to his home in Virginia.

Skyler still says it's spooky.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

I do consider it a gift.

I also have these feelings with my Ex-wife.  She and I are still close, the marriage is over, but we still love one another.  Her and Michelle are also very close friends.  Her family are actually closer to me now, than they are with her husband.  He hates me.  I feel it if something happens to Leanna, and will call her, or her family.  Leanna also feels it when something happens to me, just not as strong as Michelle.  Leanna arrived at the Hospital five minutes behind Michelle that night at Ft Wainwright.  The night Leanna had her heart attack, I intentionally made a wrong turn and saw her mother driving like a crazy woman to the Hospital.  I followed her into the emergency room, knowing something was wrong with Leanna.

Leanna and her husband don't have this gift for one another.

By the way Leanna's family got in the way of our marriage, we still loved each other, but she went with her familie's decisions.
