BUTTS, yes I hope it doesn't either and with the help of the senior moderators I think we will have a great forum here. This forum is open to any and all who wish to discuss Kansas hunting topics from public land to private. I would like to hear about your hunts, scouting, successes as well as misses. I want to see the one on the wall to pics of the one who got away. Let's hear about your strategies and theories of hunting the heartland.

It sure doesn't look like many of the folks who said they would use it are following thru on that promise. By the time the Indiana forum had been opened this long I think it had a dozen threads going.  :'(

Well didn't see it was up until now. It'll get better I'm sure. It's still way early in the seasons.I don't bow hunt any more because of a shoulder injury.I've been out and scouted a few times.Wait til the bird seasons open here in a couple of weeks. The the biggy gun season the end of November.Slow

I'm leaving next weekend for a few days in Central KS. I have been getting some good reports from the land owner about a few deer on the place I hunt. I just finished a new Osage selfbow and some dogwood arrows with stone points and some Magnus heads to try and get a shot at one. Here is one that is making his way past my feeder and to the bedding area I'm hunting.

I just returned from an elk hunting trip in Colorado. So it would have pretty hard to post or respond while I was 591 miles away from my computer.
