Will you come to Michigan to shoot cannons?

Would anyone be interested in coming to Michigan for a shoot next year ? Around July or Augest . I have 100 acres , 1/2 mile deep . 600 yds range , allowing for a buffer zone . I think I need to limit this to Beer can or smaller bore for the cannons . Mortars are pretty much wide open . Armorer77

Now this is interesting.  A few questions sir.  Where about's in Michigan (I have friends and family there)?  Also, are there hotels near by?  Camping for me would be really tough now (I'm handicapped).  But I show would like to try and make a trip.

I live South of Stanton . 1 mile South and 1 mile East . Look right in the center of the state . I know of several motels within 20 miles . Don't get too carried away , I want to do this but a lot of things need to be determined before I can commit to this . Armorer77

If it were the last week of July or the first week in August I would be able to make it.  I have a brother who lives in Jackson.  This would be a good excuse to visit him and bring my cannon along.

Double D , thanks for making this a seperate thread but ,, after what I paid to get home from Montana , this absolutely falls under lessons learned .
  I won't commit to a specific date yet . My land is rented to another farmer so I must work around the harvest schedule . Armorer77

The annual long range match at grayling will be either the 2nd weekend of July or the 2nd to the last weekend of july if you want to add that as a part of the itinerary

    Make it the 3rd week of July or the 2nd week of august. Shoot one weekend and come north another hour to Camp Grayling doing both on 1 weeks vacation.
    As long as it is not on the Weekend of Camp Grayling, I would be willing to come. Couple of small full size guns and a 24 lb. mortar.

three good hours from my mortar , the 2.25"er should pretty well bring them to their knees in short order !

well maybe bring me to my knees  :D and my arms behind my back .......detroitishins will have been saved !

i'll try and blame armorer77 ....the ol ....he made me ! :P

I'm in Flint but the last week of July will find me up attacking Fort Knox in Maine with the U S Naval Landing Party. There will be tall ships and whaleboats available and yes cannons ;D
