Cabelas has Traditions Trackers ( stamped Timber Ridge) on sale for $99.This model was my first inline, paid $100 for it 6 years ago, and if I could have found another when my daughter took mine I'd still be happy to use one.Picked one up today and the quality is comparable to my '03 model.These are good little rifles and I'm glad to have another.Hopefully ,this one will like the same class of load too(T/C Cheap Shot over 40 gr 3f T7 1300 fps)I converted the first one to use caps instead of 209's due to the primer holder fracturing( didnt know dry firing was such a no-no) and got an immediate and significant improvement in accuracy.Gonna do it to this one too.Its a simple d&t to 1/4x28 for the nipple after trimming the 209 pocket off the plug.If you have need of a good but inexpensive rifle,one of these will do nicely!
