Remington 7400 disassembly/assembly

Where can I get a disassembly- reassembly manual for a 7400 Remington? All my searches have come up inconclusive or dead ends.

Contact Remington Customer service..they should be able to help. The first link below is for a parts blow and may be helpful. The second link is for a page on the Remington sight that has owners manuals you can download. If you wish you  can request a copy from Remington.. Good luck.

Thanks, but I already have the owners manual, I need a guide on how to take it apart and reassemble the gun without doing any dammage and be able to identify any problems. I need specs on the gas port and the ball mechanism.

The ball is a simple way to seal the approach to the gas port. I don't know the port diameter but speculate it varies depending on the caliber.. If there is something else you can ask specifically perhaps we can help. Also the take down instructions for the 7400 and the other Remington semi auto centerfires are very simililar. The NRA Disassembly Guide as well as others I'm sure have the instructions you are wanting but I've not seen specs on the ball in any takedown guide. What are you wanting to do?
