Rossi 22 first shot at game
« on: October 28, 2009, 02:51:12 PM »
I picked up a rossi matched pair 22/410 I was looking for a small simple 22 and at $99  it was hard to pass up for a woods wandering rifle. I sighted it in and plinked in the back yard with it for a couple days. Tonight I got every thing done. So I took a walk along the creek  behind the house. this what I got with my first shot at game with the .22 barrel . you find black squirrels in town around here but this is the first one I have seen in the woods (there were 3 running around me in the trees tonight)

They are a phase of the gray squirrel and in some places they have a black phase fox squirrel.

Looks like the Rossi will get the job done...now to test the 410 on bunnies  :D
