Finally Snow

Woke up this morning to fresh snow.  We got just over an inch.  We are four weeks behind getting snow, with over a foot normally by now.  It's looking good, we need it.

Now for the bad news.  Weather man is saying temp in the high 30s low 40s later in the week.  Hope he is wrong.

Got to have snow to go Moose Hunting next month.

Down here close to Ft Smith, Arkansas it has been the wettest fall I've seen in over 40 years.   We don't get a lot of snow, maybe a dusting in November and a inch or so in early March.   Right now its raining, has been since lastnight, and off and on for days.  When the temp drops around freezing and this is still going on  -  -  - it ain't gonna be good around here. :o

Good luck with that Sourdough, I thought it snowed everyday but 4th of july up there!  ;D

I've got stranded by Blizzards on the 4th of July 1979 in Denali Park.  No we have beautiful summers temps in the 80s and sometimes 90s.  But by now we should have 14 to 18 inches of snow.  It's snowed sort of a drizzle all day, we've got 2" on the ground now.

Michelle got home last night from 2 weeks in Baltimore Maryland.  Woke up this morning to 4" of fresh heavy wet snow.  She started her KIA Sportage and backed out of the drive.  Immediately drove into the ditch in front of our house.  She called on her cell for one of us to come out and help her out.  Sky went to the front door and started giving her heck, laughing, and making fun of her.  She got ticked, shoved it into 4 wheel drive and hit the gas.    Drove down the ditch till she got to the neighbors drive.  Up and out of the ditch she came and off to work.  I told Sky, expect to cook dinner tonight, she will let us starve before she cooks anything now buddy.  We are on her Poo Poo list.  Someday he will learn, don't mess with the Mama.

Yep thats a lesson learned, When mama aint happy aint nobody happy and in your case fed neither!  ;D


So thats what a four wheel drive Kia is for!  ;)

I agree with FourBee, this is the wettest October I can remember. We here in Alabama get everything that has wet Arkansas, just a day or so later after it's wet Mississippi real good.
