Hope this isn't breaking any rules here but thought it was worthwhile information to pass along. 
 
In recognition of devoted service, we gratefully invite all veterans and active duty military to enjoy a free signature entree* on Veterans Day, November 11, 2009.
Please help us spread the word by forwarding this email to friends and family and inviting the veterans and active duty military men and women in your life to eat free with us on Veterans Day.
     
 

*Available during business hours on November 11, 2009 at participating Applebee's® only. Dine-in from limited menu only. Beverages and gratuity not included. Veterans and active duty military simply show proof of military service. Visit www.applebees.com for list of acceptable proof.

Golden corral does this every year, on the 16th of Nov I believe this year. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D

Local applebees crew showed up for work and it was locked up ,no one came to unlock it, no notice, no pay, just a locked up restrurant
