I have been doing the research on the Havahart live trap for a while and have finally written a long detailed article on the history of the Havahart live trap. From it's roots in Germany through the Alcock Mfg plant in Ossining NY to it's current production in Lititz PA under the Woodstream ownership.
I have a nice collection of original Havaharts with the Ossining NY stamp on the top. I'm however missing the Number 3A size which is 42" long and has an 11X13" opening. I have a #3 but it's in very poor condition. So if you have a #3 I would like one of those as well in good to excellent condition for the photo's.
If you have a Havahart 3A you will sell to me that is in good shape with the Ossining NY stamp on the top please let me know what you want for it, right away. I have a Photo shoot for the Article coming up and I really need all the sizes to complete the work.
I have some Various Newhouse and older Victor steel traps with teeth I would be willing to trade for a good shape 3A Havahart Trap. I'm also interested in any Havahart trap with the octagon style mesh sides if you have one of those!
