That is the way the thumbhole stocks are made, they are not warped. follow the lamination lines back from the center, your line will end up on the left side of the recoil pad, that built in cant is what makes them fit so nice. I have a thumbhole on my H&R Sidekick, it is built the exact same way.
I don't thin your inaccuracy problems are coming from the canted stock, but rather from the way it mounts up to the barrel. A bedding job may be in order for best accuracy.
I'd be more worried about that bent barrel! Just kidding. The shadow in the pic makes it look that way. If it shot well before, at least bed the lugs, and I am sure it will again.
