Need help with 700 CDL magazine.

Took my Model 700 hinged floorplate spring off of the bottom metal (dont ask). Now I am not sure how the small metal tab that is held under the spring against the floorplate is oriented to reassemble. The rifle is in .223 and the metal tab mentioned is not present on my long action rifles so I have nothing to refer to. Can someone with a SA 700 stop laughing and let me know how this piece is reinstalled. ???

My CDL in .243 doesn't have a removable tab.  On mine the spring slides under two small tabs on the sides of the floorplate and under another tab or set of tabs at the front of the floorplate.  So, the small diameter cartridges must have something a little different than the fatter ones.
