Vari-X IIc
« on: November 02, 2009, 03:41:50 PM »
I have a chance to buy another Leupold 1-4. It is a Vari X IIc. What is the difference from a regular Vari X II ?
I really like the 1 to 4 scopes size. I currently own 3, two are Vari X II and the 3rd is a Redfield 5 Star. I am unfamiliar with IIc designation.
Thanks

The Leupold Answer Guide

What does the small "c" mean on the Vari-X IIc model?
The "c" indicates a design change in the Vari-X II line of scopes. In 1984 Leupold changed the scope internal design to provide more windage and elevation adjustment travel.

Thanks,  I did buy the scope today. $75.00 I couldn't say no. It has a couple of tiny dings in the anodizing, clear & bright optics. Now I have 4  1-4 power scopes.
