Scope opinion/recomendations

Any opinions on a scope for a Lever gun 35 Rem.       Besides don't do it.  ;D

2x7x32 or 40. You are not shooting a long range gun so let your walet speak for you. If you can afford a Leupold get one. If money is tight, get a cheep scope and upgrade later.  Just stay away from the over under sights/scope rings. Get it mounted as low as you can.
