It is as real and realistic as it can be.
There is nothing that can stop a completely out of control president from "taking" it to the next level--short of rebellion.
That is always the option of both sides---wheather there is a lw for or against it.

 Didn't expect anybody to buy it; just wondered if the report sounded realistic. In the report it is claimed that 44K foreign troops are already here to handle American civilians in case of disorder. If that report is true..what a way to start a revolution! Remember from history, hoe it made the colonials so hostile when they were required to board King George's troops..and the even greater outrage, when the the king sent in the Hessians.
