Too true to last I'm afraid!
“Owning a handgun doesn’t make you armed any more than owning a guitar makes you a musician.”

LOL William - "I'm a ding dong daddy from Dumas, and I'm here to strut my stuff."  :D

Well if that's the case, then:

I'm an apeman, I'm an ape, apeman, oh I'm an apeman
I'm a King Kong man, I'm a voodo man, oh I'm an apeman
I don't feel safe in this world no more,
I don't want to die in a nuclear war.
I want to sail away to a distant shore and make like an apeman.
  ;D

But regardless of how we're feeling these days, those folks from Dumas have it right.

I love the panhandle of Texas!  Went to college up there.  They'll tell you exactly how the cow ate the cabbage.  We need more of that these days...cut back on the political correctness.

Thanks for sharing IG!

Does anybody remember who sang that song---"Ding dong daddy from Dumas"?
That country up there grows on you---kinda like fungus.
The folks are genuine--not particularly racial as most think about racial.
They have a lot of time to think--and they do it pretty good, for the most part.
Western is agood term for them---and western is fairly basic---some folks can't get the hang of it and it rankels their skin.
Good folks though---I like the little place of Dalhart--it has five roads coming into town and nobody knows why cause nobody knows where Dalhart is.
Blessings
