HK USP Elite .45 Longslide
« on: November 22, 2009, 12:31:17 PM »
Does anyone own a Heckler & Koch USP Elite 45? They have a 153 mm (6.02") barrel with a polymer frame, and O rings for the barrel/slide that supposedly improves accuracy. Mag capacity of 12 and weighs about 31 ounces.

I have a Springfield Loaded Longslide that I enjoy shooting, and was looking for something similar with a lightweight frame and more capacity. I have read mostly good things about HK pistols, but cannot find any reviews or website discussion on the Elite. Any info would be appreciated.

IMO---If it says H&K it is a keeper.
I don't particularly like the H&K but that is a cosmetics thing with me.
I don't particularly like the cosmetics of the SIG---but I got two because of better (IMO) cosmetics, but not by much.
Blessings

I've owned the USP Tactical .45acp and shot the 9mm Elite quite a bit, great guns! The 9mm Elite seemed like too much gun for 9mm, but the .45acp version should be a fine shooter, the Tactical sure was. I had a little trouble reaching the safety properly on the Tactical, so I traded in for the new HK 45. Much better grip for me, and again, reliable and accurate, like every HK I've shot.
