Good to see this, not that he was the best model, but it is appropriate for him to criticize:

Both parties have the same masters and sadly that is no longer the US Citizens but rather a cabal of super rich internationalists. The cabal sees the handwriting on the wall and realize the dumocraps and osama have overstepped and see a potential uprising of the citizenry which they really are not just yet ready for. So they are just using Bush who also works for them to set the stage for moving back to the republicans who have us headed in the same direction just at a slower pace.

I once thought Bush an honorable man but his actions in office proved me wrong on that. He is nothing but another face of the cabal same as osama is. They fear we might revolt and are trying to head that off. Honestly I don't think the American people have it in them to revolt yet tho that is what should happen and what needs to happen I don't see it coming to pass. There is no organization and no will for such at this point in history. I believe it is generations away yet.

Well yeah--unless the First Amendment has been suspended.  I think Dubya would rather not be bothered with it, but I also believe he is a true American and can't help being badly bothered by what the Kenyan is doing to this country.

Bill, I wouldn't assume that all the super rich have the same agenda and that they are all working against the best interest of this country and its people.  I think they cover the political spectrum, just like the rest of us, but they do probably have a bit more influence.  That's not necessarily good, or bad.

So what your saying magooch, is that when GW Bush bailed out the auto industry to the tune of about $750,000,000,000.00 against the Congressional protests, and against the protests of the people, and he LITERALLY NATIONALIZED the auto industry, that he had our best interests in mind?
You don't like Obama for doing the same thing. Let's be honest here. Everything that the new "traitor in chief" is doing is just a continuation of what was being done.
Have you ever read any portion of the "Patriot Act" that Bush SHOVED THRU, in regards to what it did to the Constitution and Bill of Rights?
Every tool that the new "traitor in chief" is using was passed down from previous administrations, including Bush's.

GB

I have to agree with your sentiments but have one question to ask, "What percentage of the colonial people wanted to break away from the King?".  It only takes a passionate few to bring a large percentage into their camp (see liberals, I remember the 50's - 70's).  The country's situation (OURS) can be reversed.

Dee, I'm not too sure of your figures, but I think that a federal government guaranteed loan to the American auto manufacturers isn't unprecedented, nor do I think it is particularly wise, but keep in mind that no matter what any President favors, Congress must first authorize it.  This is true even of the current president (not capitalized on purpose).  Be it Bush, or Obama, they would both be criticized mercilessly if they had vetoed the attempt to keep the auto companies from folding.

I would also ask you to consider that the Patriot Act was a product of the Congress in a time that called for drastic actions, much like those carried out by our government during WW II.  I'm not saying some of the provisions of the Patriot Act aren't contrary to our Constitution, but the ultimate arbitor of that should be the Supreme Court

So, is there a difference between Bush and Obama?  You betcha.  It might be hard for some to discern, but even if it's no more than a matter of me liking Bush's tone better, that's enough for me.  Heck, even Ronald Reagan irked me from time to time.

Well I would certainly beg to differ on your first point. Congress DID NOT AUTHORIZE Bush's bail out of the auto industry. He did it with his majic pin of excutive orders.

I will also diagree that the Patriot Act was a "product of Congress" as they were PRESSED BY BUSH, to sign it without reading it, after being given the assurance that the SKY WAS FALLING.

Bush & Obama, are but, two sides to the same coin. Bush in a Cadillac, Obama on a Bob Sled, but, both taking you to hell.

While i can not argue with anyone that disliked some of the actions of gw, i personaly feel he loves this country and that he is an AMERICAN PATRIOT. i bet that history will judge him a lot less harshly than the present day pundits..... i believe that

that said... i listened to his speech in which he critized obama continuing the same stuff he started. he just as much said it was against all he believed about free markets and so on. he stated that he was scared to death of the imminent collapse of the economy and everyone that had knowledge, more than him no doubt, said it had to be done and done quickly to save us from collapse..... i believe that.

he also said that after the economy was saved from collapse we must return to normalcy in the markets. we must not continue to supply bailout after bailout and dole out billions now trillions in giveaways..... i also believe that.

he and any sane person can see that the path of continued---- repeat--- continued bailouts and such will set in motion the collapse of our economy. i believe that.

just watch our dollar as it continues to spiral dowmward. the chinese hold our fate in their hands.....you can believe that

George W. Bush also said, that the Christian, the Hindu, the Buddist and the Muslim ALL WORSHIP THE SAME GOD. ???
Do you believe that? :-\

What one SAYS and what one DOES, in this case is two different things. That he disagrees with Obama, on how the economy should be destroyed, and how our liberties should be STOLEN, are impertinent. Either method will accomplish the same goal. One only slightly faster than the other. Just choose your poison.

I agree with GB, the Americian public is too used to the government furnishing everything for them.  They do not want to give up their hold on the government teat.

Government Workers, Gov Retirees, Social Security, Medicare, Medic Aid, Food Stamps, Welfare, Gov Mtrs, and Company Pension Plans turned over to the government when the companies could no longer afford it.
Where is old Joe when we really need him?  Alaska Independence    Calling Illegal Immigrants "Undocumented Aliens" is like calling Drug Dealers "Unlicensed Pharmacists"
What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
