So far three of the East Texas Youth hunts have been canceled due to flooding.

Man that stinks for the young 'uns but I know two of those areas and they are completely underwater.  They would need a scuba tank to hunt them with all the rain we've had.  Maybe they will give an alternate date or give them first chance next year.

Yeah and I think the Challenged Outdoorsmen of American hunts are going to be in big trouble.  Stands and food plots are under water.

Didn't a fellow herding cows in that area just disapear?  Found his horse with branches in his reigns, but no cowboy, very flooded woods they said..

Didn't hear about anyone being gone from their horse, but I wouldn't doubt it happening.   I haven't been down to my lease in Polk county.  I'm sure Piney creek is way out of it's banks.  We had 15.4 inches of rain during October alone here in Angleina County.

Mark,

The missing cowboy was from somewhere around Houston.  He was helping a friend herb cattle to higher pastures and didn't come back in that evening.  Haven't heard anything else, still missing last I heard.
