Thank heaven Congress is not focused on jobs right now! Can you imagine the havoc they would wreak if they were to be meddling even more than usual in policies that affect job creation?!?

Health-care and cap and trade most likely will have some very negitive effects on job creation.  So let's not take any solice in anything that this Congress involves itself in.

Questor, you spoke too soon, my friend. (tongue in cheek). :)  Today 2 Dems are working on a bill to tax stock and trade orders.
The tax money will be " spent by the government to create new jobs".  Imagine that!!.
The only job growth we have now is government. Private sector job creation has cost the taxpayers about $260,000.00 EACH.
