Sundays for me is going to a little protestant Church morning and evening. The preaching of the blessed hope in Jesus Christ is encouraging in these last days. I'll never forget a testimony time and again from a little old woman as she stood and spoke ~ "this old world ain't my home, it's just a stopping place on my way to heaven." I've found that to be more truth in these passing years.
It is as you say Heather, there's no hope in this crumbling world. St. Paul said something to this line : Corinthians 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
~ I think that is why many fail in their attempt to follow Christ.
I just read an article that the protestant religion is at its lowest in the history of the United States. That most Americans, though they believe in God, don't have any preference of faith. But as Luke and John said " Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."
"Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus."
