Question on .22WMR Sportster
« on: November 13, 2009, 03:20:07 PM »
I think I want a .22 mag. but I have a question. God forbid, I need another rifle, but does the sportster come drilled and tapped for a scope? It doesn't say on the website. I ASSume that it does ::) I was in the gunshop today to pickup some CCI SGBs and a RCBS funnel kit to help in  reloading my .223 HR/NEF rifle. I can get the .22 mag for $140.00 new. If not, I really don't want to get one. Sure would be nice it it does. You know, it's a handi sickness! ;D

ALL H&R/NEF rifles made in the last 20yrs or so have been drilled and tapped for the scope base, even those with iron sights.

Mine was used, but looked pretty dog gone new with a scope rail attached.
