finally found some varget. fin feather and fur had 8 pound jugs and i bought one.

same lot number issues and running out issues are over for a few years, as i only go through a couple pounds a year of this powder.


NOBODY had this stuff....i hate spending $125 on it but it's worth it to have it on hand.

next up is remington 9.5 large rifle primers. a box of those and i will be set for a couple years.

I did notice Fin Fur Feather had small Rem primers but no large.
Kinda strange

Find any other bargains there? It was one of their big weekends

nothing else really. i am on a tight budget and it was a dumb move to buy powder but i really am sick of not having what i need.

not sure why no remington large rifle 9.5's. they did have large rifle magnum primers.

i have been a loyal Fin customer for a long time. also shoot clays at their old building.

i called yesterday about varget and was told they had none.

i said something to the guy today and he said "well maybe they thought you meant one-pound containers?"

i bought 500 varmint nightmare extreme bullets, and have enough brass for, forever. just need the dang primers. i am down to about 400 total left. not enough.
