Range finders ?

If you had the choice of buying a Nikon pro-staff 550 or a Leupold RX 600 (they both cost the same) which one would you get and why ? My wife is early Christmas shopping and want's me decide. If there is any thing in that price range I would be glad to hear about it.  Thanks

Looks like Im in the same market.  Why Bushnell?  Might be a chance for me to learn something.

Why for me is that it's the only brand I've ever owned and all I've had worked well and still are for the folks who bought them from me as I changed from one model to another. I've heard fewer bad reports on them than most other brands as well.

Mine is a Bushnell.
I like it.  Easy to use.  I will range farther than I can shoot.
The only thing I do not like about it is
It is not water Proof.

I had an older Bushnell 500 that I lost before my current Nikon Monarch 800.  The Nikon definately ranges further( which is to be expected since its an 800), but also does a much better job of locking in on deer at 300-400 yards than the Bushnell and even my friends Leica. My vote is for the Nikon.
