:eek: I have a tc grey hawk that I mounted a scope on.Unable to shoot less than 12in high at 50yds.Setup consists of VXII 2-7X33 mounted on TC duo-rings with proper base.I have numerous inlines with scopes that shoot fine.This being my first purchased 12yrs ago wanted to take it back to the woods and a scope for my eyes is ness.Anyone else have this problem with a sidelock.

Might be the scope. I've seen even NIB scopes fail. Try swappin with one of your other "proven" scopes.

You might try switching the rings, front to back.

thanks for the replies but as far as the scope goes bore sighting adjustment was quite alot and the duo rings are one solid mount can't adjust.going to call tc see if setup is to high for this side lock.also tried heavier bullets with same results. I just haven't hunted with this weapon for a long time and my eyes aren't what they used to be.

Try LIGHTER bullets! Heavy slugs have more barrel time, resulting in the muzzle achieving greater height in recoil before the slug exits, at 50 yards drop is going to be negligable.

Irrespective, at 50 yards that is way too high, something isn't kosher with your scope mounting proceedure, I'd try the above suggestion of swapping rings.
