Don't know who has it, but it's somebody's attempt on a muzzle loading cannon with a recoil system with a pretty good bore size.

DD, you are EVIL for posting that link.  I went there to just quickly browse, five minutes max.  Well, I just took the bread out of the oven.  I had put it in just before I started browsing.  Bad man.  Evil, naughty, wicked man. 

I even found a compilation of stills that have a photo of moi.

I think it uses an industrial gas spring for the buffer mechanism similar to a screen door closer.  You can see it on the top of the barrel.  I experimented with the Hydraulic screen door closers and after about 60 rounds they blow apart.  I'm not sure how well the industrial cylinders work.  The 3/5 scale French 75 I build where I used one of those was only fired about 10 times since built in 2006.
