TCA - Encore 209/50 EZ Rectractor Tip
« on: October 22, 2003, 07:26:38 AM »
Hello all:

Given the substandard reviews of this part (on this forum) and the additional lack of availability I ask, “would simply using the rifle WITHOUT ANY tip extractor be acceptable”?  I really would like the convenience of being able to clean the firearm without dissemble.

Thanks very much:

Yes, of course.

The Omega has the identical breechplug-- no extractor.

Thanks Randy.

Sorry for the lack of response.  I had moved this post to the TC board and just noted your reply.  I'm going to remvoe the tip, or at the very least, remove the screw that holds it in so it can be pulled out easily.  My main concern is "wallowing" out the barrel pin and hole from continous dissembly.  Thanks again:

Jay
