SB2-2S7 , is the Frame S.S. ?
« on: November 13, 2009, 06:16:38 AM »
The H&R web site describes it as a "Stainless Handi Rifle"

http://www.hr1871.com/Firearms/Rifles/handiRifle.asp

So I assume it is ALL Stainless, as there is no mention of Nickle

Those are the same model numbers they've always had, so the omission doesn't mean they're all stainless, there are numerous errors on their website, the SS Ultra Hunter 45-70 is the only all stainless firearm they offer, but they're supposed to be offering more all SS firearms, so don't give up yet. I wouldn't be ordering one unless you see a different model number on one.  ;)

There are no plans for anything else new at this time, probably not until 2011, they have some ideas, but nothing presented yet. You might check you local Gander Mtn if you have one, they have sold some SS framed special order firearms, there are the SS Ultra Hunter 45-70 and 444Marlins if you can find em.
