Dom's Investment Grade Mortars

This is for an auction that recently ended for one of Dom's dictators on ebay.  $95.00 new, $153.01 used. I think I need to buy a few for resale.

I've seen quite a bit of this with Winchester signal cannons that are selling for more than retail for no reason whatsoever. They're not old, paperwork and box missing yet still selling for $300.00 over retail.

I'm not sure that is a Dom made dictator, the base looks more angled and longer than on his.

his is .75" cal. the auction one is 1"

I was looking at that when it was first listed. The description says that there is "Carpenter" on it and if you look at the pictures it has "Carpenter , 8-2006" on one side of the sled and on the other side "Black Powder only".
Looks like Dom's work to me.

Did I do my math right? That looks like a 61% return on the investment...my 401K sure didn't do that good.

 Since, it was owned by one of our board members. Maybe, it's a roll over investment for bigger things.....

That was Dictator mortar #1.  Built prior to having any accurate side view photos of the original.  I was working from an angled photo that's why it has the enongated base.
