2 frames and 4 barrels

Would like to have 2 frames and be able to into change 4 barrels. If I bought two new H&R Ultra's, what are the chances that when I get 2 extra barrels they would interchange on either frame?

50/50  They either will or they won't. :D
You really won't know until you try them.
Even the same year frames don't mean they will interchange.
You just have to take your chances.
That is one reason some of us have so many guns.

Yes, 50/50 is fit or no fit.  I would say about 75 percent of mine fit right off the bat.  The others needed swapping around or tweaking.  That's why you need lots of Handis.....the more you have the better your chances of finding the perfect fit. I'll betcha Tim has no problem with that ;D ;)

Even having lots of frames, I still sometimes have to fit barrels, but a good share fit just fine, just not all of em.  ;)

Ideally, you'd buy the two guns out of retail stock, and make sure that they swap barrels before laying the money down.
Having confirmed that your two frames interchange, you can send one frame into H&R and have two more barrels fitted to it and switch the four barrels indiscriminately.

I've had situations with not quite identical guns where the short barrel fits on the long frame and feels good, but the long barrel won't easily latch in the short frame, so switch barrels on both guns when you test fit them.

I have five frames, three of them can take each others' barrels perfectly, the other two don't match the three, or each other.
