I think, just me think, that business is driving the car right now---greed and international business.
It will come to a head when one wants it all---that is the way it has always happened.   Maybe this will be the last time----I pray.

Our real problem at this point in our history is not really government, WE put those guys there.  It's not really business.  All would fail without OUR support.  It's really moral ambivalence.  People have no moral conscience any more.  I'm not just talking about religion, even though I'm very much so, but more than that, when people are only interested in themselves and what they can get, and who can get it for them, and are not interested in right and wrong, we get to where we are now.

We are at a point where about half our population is dependent to the government.  The other half cannot support them forever.

What a dilemma.

Those folks overseas are not real slow at sticking their hands out for aid.
I know that it is a moral failure.
I also know that this Republic business was a great experiment and was always in danger of becoming overly liberal. It had to be liberal thinking that wanted the masses to govern theirownselves.
Now, it will only succede if we manage it conservatively.
We are not doing so.
Blessings

there were loyalists at the time of the revolution that didn't mind licking the boots of the english navy and marines
weak and craven alike that had no identity, pride or purpose and would sell the justifiably successful out due to spite and jealousy
this nation has always had diversionary beliefs, loyalties and agendas....

the problem is that before the different people were able to live with plenty of space and resources and minimal regulation
we're so regulated that all it takes is a social security number and picture id to ruin someone's life

Lots of people don't have the most humble bit of ambition though- some of the bums don't even shower or brush their teeth... they're fine with living in a shelter that smells of urine and body funk... and if we "materialists" need to give up some of our luxuries to pay for their welfare, then so be it.

overseas they take US and UN handouts because they don't have any civilization to be proud of... the money that is sent to them is "laundered" I believe.... we probably need tm7 or yankee1 to explain how though
