Got the 45 XT Stainless early summer on closeout at Sportsman Den for $165. Yesterday, shot a 140# FD doe at 165 yds, with in 1" of aiming point. Pass thru and 5 hops with a 200gr Parker Jacketed Hydra-con. This rifle is unbelievably accurate with every bullet I've shot from 70 to 120gr of loose Pyro. Check my signature, I am a dyed in the wool T/C man, and it out shoots the Omega's I've had hands down. Omega's are a great gun, but I am in awe of this thing! It out shoots my old Remington .308! Waiting to get back out and praying for a nice buck!
Side note, had my 4 year old grandson at the camp. We took turns babysitting and I hauled him out to the popup and we "deer hunted" for 2 hours before he got bored. This was greatest experience in my life! He had a blast (me too
) and was all he could talk about all night. Another deer hunter was born yesterday!
