First Day !

Well This Monday will be our opening day for gun here in New York. Hope to bow hunt one more time tomorrow {Saturday} I had to work overtime last week so I didn't get to hunt at all ,and we are really seeing some rut activity at least thats what my buddies tell me.I don't think I will take a long gun to the woods Monday ,already shot a spike and a nice doe with my bow. Don't really need the meat that bad but I have a couple friends who don't hunt that would take the meat.Funny how everyone wants to shoot these monster bucks and they are the worst eating in the woods. Well must have a good recipe for the horns . Well good luck ! :D
