Nice Six Point
« on: October 20, 2009, 09:45:58 PM »
Shot this buck about 5pm Tuesday evening. Only a 6 point but very wide and a pretty big buck. Stopped right in my shooting lane at about 15 yards. Put a 100 grain three blade Muzzy right through the pump station.

Nice job!!  I've managed 0-2 so far.  I did have 8 pointer on trail cam day ago.
Great deer.

Six point and has to be a second year buck. I did see a first year buck with a six rack, but it was tiny and the deer was two, he had two be an early spawn of rut the previous year. This six point is huge, imagine him 4 or 5 years old. I still believe if it's a trophy to you that's all that matters. EAT WELL TODD.

That is an awesome six point. Good job! I am glad to hear your muzzy did the job. I am a big fan of the 3 blade 100 grain as well. Are you going to have him mounted? You don't see a six point like that very often. He would look great on the wall.

Good Job!

Yeah, I think I will mount him. 19 1/2 inch inside spread. Just don't see too many 6 points this size. Kind of unique.
