Been lurking around this sight for a couple of years mostly on the cap and ball revolver page. Getting bored with some of the other sights so I thought I'd register here. My main interest is traditional percussion pistols, revolvers and rifles. I also enjoy tinkering with saturday night specials and getting them to be reliable shooters. Enjoy doing the same with black powder peices. I love simple firearms and have no interest in the latest black rifle or wizz bang version of the 1911. I have several cap and ball revolvers as well as black powder derringers and 4 sidelock percussion rifles in 3 calibers. I have slowed down in terms of new aquisitions but would love to get a Colt Dragoon, a ML rifle in .45 and a Handi rifle in 30-30. Then I can die a happy man. I also recently rediscovered the fun of slingshot shooting which I indulge when getting to the range is impossible or impractical. Blowguns are a hoot also.
