can-am outlander

you read a lot of different kinds of atv's but nobody says anything about can-ams.
are they any good or aare they the best around?  i was thinking of getting the can-am max 500 efi. anything on this one

My buddy has one, 400 outlander EFI, excellent machine, climbs good, runs good even at high altitude.  Comes with good tires, and has realy good power for general use.    The one drawback to the machine is the air intake and exhaust for the CVT auto transmition belt is really low on the machine so it really can't handle much water.  If you suck water into your tranny belt it own't be worth a crap until you dry it out.  You can solve that by snorkeling it.  I would snorkel it anyway.

good machine and probably the stoutest motors in about every size on the market. there 400s run like most 500s ect. Im waiting to see the new side by side there suppose to come out with and it may just get me to part with the razor.
