Thinking of getting a 460 katahdin for my prohunter, just wondering if it has any advantages over the 45/70. What one would you pick and why?

I bought a 45-70 Katahdin. Brass and ammo are easy to acquire. The 45-70 easily handles 250gr - 400+gr bullets without a problem. The 45-70 normally shoots well with reduced or full power loads.  The 45-70 would be easy to sell if you get tired of it. Bears hate the 45-70.   ;D

What has the 460 got to offer?

If you already reload large pistol size cases but not rifle cases you can use some of the componets like powder, bullets and dies
