GunsAmerica.com

Was a member here for several years but, now have been excommunicated from their site. Wanted to know more information about a certain gun for sale on their website but, couldn't access the information. Contacted(emailed) GA about the problems I'd had with their new/improved website. Got a return email from a woman exec.,in charge of this department?, and was told tough sh**, in so many words. I complained about their wanting to be in between customers and buyers and her return email said I no longer had membership or privaledges there. Let me say here and now, don't miss them at all!
Actually, the more I corresponded with this woman, the more I realized she knew absolutely nothing about the guns she had control over and didn't care to help her customers. Just wondering, has anyone else had such problems with GA and or their execs?

Never joined Guns America, but did have a problem with Glock talk. I tried to register there, but was sent a message that my IP address was banned. I wrote 3 e-mails to the administrator and never got a reply. I was never a member there so I was never banned for any reason. So I say to Hell with them.

An entire ISP can be blocked because of a static IP that comes up.

I have an account on GA, but have never tried to contact them.  From what I had seen, they didn't try to run the site too much besides just that - blocking information if not registered.

I'm resistered with them. Bought both of my Contender frames there without any problems.

I actually like them better then the other sites. At least you can find a deal there once in a while unlike gunbroker.

I haven't had a problem yet but I only cruise the ads.

My problem with them must be I like to ask questions about every detail of a gun before I buy(don't like surprises)? She definately didn't like it!

You should be able to ask all the questions you want. You're buying it sight unseen.

I have also had problems with GunsAmerica, but have been very pleased with Auctionarms.com and Gunbrokers.com.  I have bought several guns off both sites and with the exception of one buy,  got exactly what I expected.  The gun that was not up to my expectations was returned with a full refund of my money to include shipping both ways.

Keep in mind, you are bidding on both these sites, sometimes "fools" get wraped up in the bidding and run a gun out of site.  If they are will to pay more than it is worth, so be it, but you can get some very good deals from time to time.

I had a problem with them as I ask a question and ask the seller to contact me by email and got a letter saying that was a no no and never did hear from seller guess they trashed the email much like e bay who wont to make sure they are included in all sales so they get theirs. It all comes down to the more they make the more they wont. I was not even asking the fellow to stop auction or any thing just a simple question.

Sounds an awful lot like my experience with them.
